Dorzox is an anti-glaucoma ophthalmic preparation, which is generally indicated as a therapy in the treatment of glaucoma and ocular hypertension. Dorzolamide is a highly energetic component available in this eye drop. Dorzolamide is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor and it acts by reducing the elevated intraocular pressure within the eyes. It is also known as topical beta blockers.

Dorzox is usually used by those patients who are suffering from glaucoma and ocular hypertension. Increased intraocular pressure inside the eyes known as ocular hypertension and it is a major risk of causing the glaucoma condition of an eye and damaging the optic nerve of an eye and become a main cause of blindness. Dorzolamide is a chief pharmaceutical component found in the Dorzox and it comes under the group of beta blockers and carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. Dorzolamide shows its valuable action by inhibiting the carbonic anhydrase and decline the secretion of fluid and intraocular pressure and reduces the risk of damaging of optic nerves of an eye and prevent the loss of vision.

Dorzox eye drops are used to treat increased pressure in the eye caused by an ocular hypertension and open-angle glaucoma, both eye conditions cause high pressure within the eye known as intraocular pressure that may lead to an eye pain and harm your vision. Recommended dose: 1-2 drops is the recommended dose of Dorzox. It should be taken twice or thrice daily.

Patients using Dorzox may encounter unwanted side effects such as: blurred vision, itching and irritation of the eyes, severe headache, and bitter taste of the mouth and sensation of eye tiredness.
